Even today, where there are a hundred different types of ball, good old-fashioned line and length bowling is an incredibly effective way to bowl: Hit the spot, do a bit off the pitch or in the air, take wickets. Simple.

The Talent ID Manager will ensure the existence of effective systems and processes for identifying emerging talent for New Zealand Cricket’s High Performance programmes, assist in selection of national teams (New Zealand A, New Zealand Under-19), advise BLACKCAPS selectors and assist in developing Major Associations’ talent identification programmes. This position will liaise closely with the BLACKCAPS Head Coach, BLACKCAPS selector and the High Performance team on current and future needs.
