Derek Randall represented England in 47 Tests and 49 One Day Internationals. He is well known for his determined batting (scoring over 28,000 first class runs for Nottinghamshire) and boundless enthusiasm.
He helped redifine fielding standards at all levels as the one day game grew in popularity. It's said he saved 20 runs a day with his anticipation and agility.
